According to political pundits, BJP is going to launch Mission ‘Y’ (Yadav) in the state with 14.26 percent population. The entire team of Bihar BJP started preparing for it. However, a big program is being organized by senior BJP leaders at SK Memorial Hall under the banner of Shri Krishna Chetna Manch. MP Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will be felicitated here. Many big leaders of the society and retired officers are going to participate in it. After this program, Dr. Mohan Yadav will also visit BJP office and ISKCON temple.
Lalu’s hold is still strong in Yadav vote bank
Talking about vote bank, even today Yadavs are considered the core voters of Rashtriya Janata Dal. The way RJD emerged as the largest party in Bihar in the 2020 assembly elections, it became clear that even though BJP promoted big leaders like Nand Kishore Yadav, Nityanand Rai and Ramkripal Yadav. Nityanand Rai was also made a minister in the Modi government. But, Lalu Prasad has a different hold on the Yadav vote bank. Experts say that the Yadav caste got a lot of benefits in the RJD government. Yadav caste also came forward during the rule of Lalu Prasad. Their economic and political condition improved. For this reason, even today Yadav is with RJD in Bihar. When Mohan Yadav was made the CM in MP, the media of Bihar had asked Tej Pratap Yav a question, then he had said that Yadav is a descendant of Lord Krishna. It is a good thing that Yadav is getting respect. However, the RJD MLA said that Mohan Yadav becoming the Chief Minister will not have any impact in Bihar. RJD leaders claimed that even today Lalu Prasad is universally accepted by the Yadavs in Bihar.

In Bihar, Lok Sabha and Assembly elections are viewed from different lenses. For example, in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, NDA won 39 seats. Then Nitish Kumar’s JDU was with BJP. Whereas RJD won only one seat. Exactly about a year later, RJD got 75 seats in the assembly elections. Whereas BJP has 74 seats. After a few months, four AIMIM MLAs joined RJD. In this way RJD has a total of 79 MLAs. Experts say that the coming time will tell which way the Yadav vote bank will lean in the Lok Sabha elections.
